At Thought Vector Psychology, Steve Hewitson offers thoughtful, evidence-based support to help people of all ages navigate life’s challenges.
Adults
You’re tired of feeling “meh”. Your life isn’t “that bad”, but for some reason you can’t break free from the constant feelings of either not being good enough, not doing enough, not being loved enough, doing too much for others or feeling like you don’t belong. You worry that this has been going on for so long that there is something fundamentally wrong with you. You’ve even tried therapy before, but it didn’t work!
It’s time to stop feeling “meh” and start feeling happy. It’s possible to get a better understanding of yourself and your life-long patterns. And it’s possible to break free from these patterns and live the life you want to live. Stop feeling crappy and start thriving, living the life you want and getting your needs met. Steve supports adults in overcoming anxiety, depression, trauma and long-standing patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that may be getting in the way of a more fulfilling life. This includes individuals who have experienced traumatic events or adverse childhood experiences.
With a compassionate and collaborative approach, Steve will help you to clarify your goals, make sense of your difficulties, and take practical steps forward. He offers face to face and online therapy for flexible, accessible support.
Approaches
Steve draws on a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s needs, including:

If you're looking for support for yourself or your child, Steve is here to help.
